Our Mission
The Bloody Peach Film Festival is an exciting short film festival dedicated to horror and science fiction. Its particular emphasis is on promoting the work of underrepresented groups in the film industry, such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQ individuals, and women filmmakers.
Our primary objective is to uncover and celebrate the exceptional talents of filmmakers whose voices and stories are frequently overlooked in mainstream cinema. We strive to uplift the diverse identities and experiences reflected in their work, ensuring that these narratives receive the recognition they deserve.
By organizing this festival, we aim to bridge the existing gaps in representation within the film community. We want to create a platform where these individuals can share their unique perspectives and showcase their creativity, thus validating their contributions to filmmaking. Through screenings, panels, and discussions, we hope to foster a more inclusive environment that honors the rich tapestry of voices in the horror and sci-fi genres.
